SABIL and its subsidiary, National Grain Company (NGC), signed two strategic agreements with Tanmiah Food Company to enhance grain supply efficiency and integrated logistics services. The agreements were signed during the opening of the Saudi Agriculture Exhibition 2026, attended by His Excellency Eng. Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadley, Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture. The agreements mark a practical step in implementing SABIL’s new strategy, which focuses on growth and expansion in agri-food logistics by maximizing its operational capabilities and logistics assets.
Under the first agreement, SABIL will provide Tanmiah with dedicated grain storage facilities, along with receiving, handling, quality inspection, inventory management, transportation, and distribution services. The second agreement, between NGC and Tanmiah, focuses on sourcing feed grains from international markets through bulk sea shipments, leveraging international procurement capabilities and gradually increasing supply volumes based on operational needs.
The agreements demonstrate the integration of SABIL’s capabilities with those of NGC, whose ownership was recently transferred to SABIL, to deliver end-to-end logistics solutions covering sourcing, handling, storage, transportation, and distribution. This collaboration aims to strengthen supply continuity, support the development of feed grain reserves, enable the food industry, and contribute to Saudi Arabia’s food security.
