SABIL Discharges First Corn Vessel for the Private Sector

29, June, 2025

The National Grain Supply Company – SABIL has launched the activation of its newly transferred operational assets by executing its first discharge operation of a corn vessel designated for the private sector at King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam. This milestone comes as part of the company’s operational strategy aimed at enhancing the flexibility and efficiency of grain supply chains across the Kingdom.

This step reflects SABIL’s ongoing efforts to confirm its operational readiness and leverage its infrastructure across various port branches to support the delivery of grains to different regions, contributing to meeting local demand for essential food commodities.

SABIL currently operates at four major ports in the Kingdom—Dammam, Jazan, Jeddah, and Yanbu. These strategic locations enable the company to receive critical food commodities from diverse global origins, strengthening the resilience of supply chains and improving responsiveness in alignment with the Kingdom’s national food security objectives.
